How would you describe Shin Buddhism with 25 words or less?

Shin Buddhism is a religion that shows that the compassion of the universe (Amida) flows through all beings to save them from samsara.

---Bob Walczewski

It is an egalitarian sect which holds that enlightenment is assured to all beings regardless of their karmic standing. All that is required is to invoke the Name of Amida with a mind of true entrusting. Then, what has been already accomplished will become manifest.

--Robert Orsi

Namu Amida  Butsu.

--Jeff Zyjeski

Shin is the path of transcendence, in which suffering is assuredly transformed into liberation by entrusting solely in the great wisdom and compassion of Amida.

--Sensei G.R. Lewis

Shin Buddhism is meant to give assurance and release people from religious fears and intimidation and does not attempt to control the spiritual destiny of people through threats and retribution.

--Lorein Cipriano

For me, it is more than a religious path, it is a way of life based on faith in the Primal Vow of Amida. I’m embraced never to be abandoned by Boundless Compassion.

--Yvette Law
