Teaching our children the Dharma is the best way to safeguard their minds and hearts from the many unwholesome and negative influences of our modern society. Knowledge of the Buddha's Teachings will give them the ethical tools and life-enhancing guidance needed to live fulfilling and compassionate lives.

Moreover, it is the best way we can create the ground of a truly American Buddhism, which can nurture and expand its practice, community, and culture in the 21st century. PARENTS SHARING THE NEMBUTSU (SACRED NAME) TEACHINGS WITH THEIR YOUNG CHILDREN BY Dr. Ken Tanaka: This web site offers parenting, sharing and Nembutsu tips, how to respond to tuff situations and questions, an explanation our fundamental outlook on life and suggested daily activities.

FAMILY DHARMA CONNECTION is an online Sangha, devoted to Buddhist families with children and others interested in sharing the Dharma with children. This is a wonderful resource. Site includes lessons, activities, and topics such as mindful divorce and calendar and holidays.
